Logbook servicing

Your warranty,
fully protected.

Logbook servicing follows your manufacturer's schedule using the right parts and oils, stamped and recorded so your new-car warranty stays valid. You do not have to return to the dealer — under Australian Consumer Law, an independent workshop can do it.

We check the service schedule for your specific make, model and year, use the correct parts and fluids, and stamp your logbook. Digital records are kept so there is always a paper trail.

Car servicing — questions

Will a logbook service at Wangan void my new-car warranty?

No. Under Australian Consumer Law you can service your car at any qualified independent workshop without voiding your warranty, as long as the manufacturer's schedule and correct parts are followed — which is exactly what we do.

How often should I service my car?

Most cars are serviced every 12 months or 10,000–15,000 km, whichever comes first. Check your logbook for the exact interval, or send us your rego and we will tell you.

Do you service all makes and models?

Yes — we service all makes and models, from daily drivers and work utes to weekend cars.

What is the difference between a logbook service and a general service?

A logbook service follows your manufacturer's exact schedule — specific checks, parts and intervals for your make and model. A general service covers the universal essentials (oil, filter, fluids, brakes, tyres, battery) and is suited to older cars or vehicles past the logbook period.

Do I have to go back to the dealer for servicing?

No. Since 2017, the ACCC has made it clear that independent workshops can perform logbook servicing without affecting your new-car warranty, as long as the schedule and correct parts are used. We stamp the book and keep the records.

How long does a car service take?

A standard logbook or general service is usually finished within 3–4 hours. If we find anything unexpected, we will call you before doing any additional work.

What if you find something wrong during the service?

We explain what we found in plain English, tell you whether it is urgent or can safely wait, and quote any additional work. Nothing extra happens without your approval.
